Sáng ngày 18/12, tờ Sport Chosun của Hàn Quốc đã đưa tin Moon Ga Young đã quyết định sẽ xuất hiện trong bộ phim truyền hình do đài tvN sản xuất. Theo đó, đây sẽ là dự án tiếp theo của nữ diễn viên sau thành công mà cô đã đạt được từ True Beauty (Vẻ đẹp Đích Thực).
Ngay sau đó, công ty chủ quản của Moon Ga Young là KeyEast Entertainment cũng đã lên tiếng xác nhận việc nữ diễn viên đang đàm phán cho vai nữ chính trong bộ phim truyền hình Link. Cụ thể, một đại diện của KeyEast đã trả lời các báo cáo một cách ngắn gọn rằng: ” Đúng thực là Moon Ga Young hiện đang đàm phán để xuất hiện trong Link với vai nữ chính”.
Trước đó, nam diễn viên Kim Seon Ho cũng được báo cáo rằng sẽ đảm nhận vai nam chính trong dự án phim mới của đài tvN. Theo đó, công ty quản lý của Kim Seon Ho là Salt Entertainment cũng đã lên tiếng xác nhận việc nam diễn viên nhận được lời mời cho vai nam chính trong bộ phim Link. Tuy nhiên đến nay, Kim Seon Ho vẫn đang trong quá trình xem xét và chưa đưa ra thông tin chính thức cho việc xác nhận tham gia bộ phim.
Ngoài ra, một số nguồn tin trước đó cũng tiết lộ việc nhà sản xuất bộ phim đã nhắm đến Kim Ji Won cho vai nữ chính. Nhưng có lẽ sau quá trình xem xét, Kim Ji Won đã không thể tham gia bộ phim và thay vào đó là Moon Ga Young.
Dù khá tiếc nuối vì cặp đôi visual Kim Seon Ho và Kim Ji Won không thể hợp tác cùng nhau, nhưng người hâm mộ cũng rất mong đợi vào sự tham gia của Moon Ga Young trong bộ phim lần này. Bởi lẽ trước đó, cô và Kim Seon Ho đã từng hợp tác rất ăn ý với nhau trong bộ phim Nhà Trọ Waikiki 2 (Welcome to Waikiki 2). Vì vậy nên nhiều người hâm mộ đang rất mong đợi có thể thấy cả hai tái xuất cùng nhau trên màn ảnh nhỏ.
Ngoài ra, Moon Ga Young cũng đang nhận được rất nhiều cảm tình của khán giả sau dự án True Beauty (Vẻ Đẹp Đích Thực) hợp tác cùng Cha Eun Woo và Hwang In Yeob. Trong khi đó, Kim Seon Ho cũng đã đánh cắp trái tim của rất nhiều fan hâm mộ với vai nam phụ Han Ji Pyeong trong bộ phim Khởi Nghiệp (Start-up) cùng Suzy và Nam Joo Hyuk. Nếu cả hai cùng gật đầu tham gia bộ phim Link, đây hứa hẹn sẽ là dự án gây bùng nổ trong thời gian tới.
Link là bộ phim truyền hình Hàn Quốc kết hợp giữa giả tưởng, lãng mạn và bí ẩn. Nội dung phim kể về Eun Gye Hoon – một đầu bếp nổi tiếng trong khu phố và có cô em gái mất tích cách đây 20 năm. Cho đến một ngày, anh bỗng dưng không thể kiểm soát cảm xúc của mình, thường xuyên cười và khóc một cách vô thức. Đó là khi anh bắt đầu có khả năng cảm nhận tất cả những cảm xúc của của Noh Da Hyun – một người phụ nữ có số phận bất hạnh và có mối liên hệ bí ẩn với anh. Cả hai bắt đầu trải qua tất cả niềm vui, nỗi buồn và nỗi đau cùng với nhau và cũng giải đáp sự liên kết kỳ lạ này.

Kim Seon-ho, who stars in Start-Up, shared photos of himself posing in front of the coffee and snack trucks he received from close friends and his 2D1N co-stars DinDin, Yeon Jung-hoon and Kim Jong-min as well as his Welcome to Waikiki 2 co-star Moon Ga-young.
Kim Seon-ho, the man behind the latest edition of second lead syndrome as the loveable Han Ji-pyeong in Start-Up, was recently overwhelmed with all the love he received from his close friends in the industry, who sent over coffee and snack trucks to the sets of the popular tvN drama. Seon-ho took to his Instagram page to share handsome photos of himself posing in front of the customised trucks while his caption was filled with nothing but love for his co-stars.
The 34-year-old actor first shared close-up photos of himself, looking dashing in formal attire, while standing in front of his Welcome to Waikiki co-star Moon Ga-young’s customised truck. “Dongsaeng, thank you for the surprise. I enjoyed the beverage,” Seon-ho cutely wrote for the True Beauty star’s thoughtful gift, via Soompi. The customised truck included a cute photo of the co-stars along with “I will be cheering on the Start-Up cast and crew to conclude in good health,” written as Ga-young’s message.
Then, Seon-ho was engulfed with affection from his 2 Days 1 Night co-stars, with whom he shares a very special bond. Kim Jong-min sent over a cute customised truck, the banner of which read, “Seon-ho, I am always cheering you on!! Gain strength until the end!!” Along with photos of posing in front of the truck while donning a plaid jacket, in his endearing caption, Seon-ho wrote, “Jong-min hyung, thank you!!! I will gain strength and focus,” along with 2D1N’s hashtag. Fans of the KBS variety show will remember the gesture done by Seon-ho in the snaps was a trademark ‘focus’ move of Jong-min’s which had left the former in splits during one of the Season 4 episodes.
Finally, customised trucks were also sent over by DinDin and Yeon Jung-hoon as Seon-ho, in yet another dapper formal attire, stood in front of them for snaps. “Jung-hoon hyung… DinDin… Is it my birthday today? Who are we? Thank you,” along with 2D1N’s hashtag, heart and smiley emoticons. In response, DinDin quipped, “I sent it to Han Ji-pyeong. Do well until the end and come back to Kim Seon-ho.”
Moreover, Seon-ho’s Start-Up co-star Suzy also received a customised truck from her good friend Jo Hyun-ah of Urban Zakapa. Posing in front of the truck and even doing the heart sign, the 26-year-old actress shared the adorable snaps on IG and wrote as her caption, “This gave me a boost of energy! Thank you. This is how sweet she is,” to which Hyun-ah wrote, “I love you,” via Soompi. “To all the staff of Start-Up, you’ve worked hard! Dal-mi’s friend Jo Hyun Ah is treating you,” the truck’s banner read, referencing to Suzy’s Start-Up character Seo Dal-mi.

True Beauty is a romantic comedy K-Drama that recently started premiering on tvN for Korean fans and Viu or Rakuten Viki for international fans. Based originally on a webtoon of the same name or alternately, Goddess Advent, this drama will explore the life of a young high school student Im Ju Kyung (played by Moon Ga Young) who suffers from issues of self-worth and confidence stemming from her appearance. However, she learns about makeup on online forums and gives it a try. Make-up works wonders for her self image and she can now confidently start her life anew in a new school with new people. She meets two men, Su Ho (Cha Eunwoo) and Seo Jun (Hwang In Yeob) who complicate her feelings but also help her come out of her shell and embrace her true beauty.
Su Ho calls Im Ju Kyeong through her number that he found at school and arranges for them to meet at the comic book store. Ju Kyeong doesn’t know whether he wants to meet the real her that Su Ho knows from the comic book store or the pretty version of her he knows from school and so decides to go with her bare face, without any make-up on. She is determined to hide the fact that she is in fact, his classmate, the gorgeous Im Ju Kyeong everyone admires at school. However, Su Ho has already figured out the truth. Despite her denial, Su Ho corners her against the wall and tells her that she can’t even act because it’s very evident that she is Ju Kyeong. At that moment, Ju Kyeong’s mother appears and calls her out, telling her that she should be studying, giving away her true identity. Im Ju Kyeong is clearly flustered and retaliates by saying that she is indeed Ju Kyeong and there’s nothing she can do about it. Back at home, Ju Kyeong thinks that her life is now ruined because he’s going to expose her secret to everybody at school. Desperate and scared, she wonders whether she should just drop out again.
